How A Parking Garage Changed My Photography Career

For a while I’ve been wanting to tell more compelling stories and launch my YouTube channel. After hearing some requests to give more of the behind the scenes, the process, and telling great stories; I’ve finally gotten to the point where I can produce long-form content for y’all. This is something that I’ve been wanting to to for a while, and I hope you guys like some of the stories that I would love to share. This parking garage has been a place of practice and peace, definitely one of my favorite places to film and shoot. Over the years of shooting some campaigns, being shot for @225batonrouge, and just hanging out with my friends; I love this place and it has sharpened my craft.

As a part of Casey Neistat's 'Monthly' class, I had to make a spontaneous film so I took the time to find something around my hometown and I found something that was dear to me. This parking garage has been a place of practice and peace, definitely one of my favorite places to film and shoot.

After a brief hiatus from music videos, I decided to take my time and come back with a clearer conscience. I’m a perfectionist, and I don’t ever expect anything less when I put my all into visuals. So learn to take your time when you need it- live your life on your own terms, and most importantly HAVE FUN.

The guy QuanG is moments away from making his debut, and everything lined up perfectly with this one. The shoot overall went well, everyone had contributed well to this vision and the only setback was the moment I broke the drone haha. Nonetheless, it was a great time, and I look forward to working with Quan again someday.
